Definition
Combining a new habit with an existing anchor habit using the formula “After I [CURRENT HABIT], I will [NEW HABIT].”
Practical Example
- After brushing teeth (existing), do 2 minutes of stretching (new).
How to Apply
- List daily anchor habits.
- Pair each anchor with a tiny new behavior.
- Keep the new behavior ≤ 2 minutes initially.
